Learning:

ELA:

We are doing opinion writing and working on brainstorming and identifying the opinion, reason, examples that would support their opinion. 

SLA:

We are working on writing about our houses that we built, we are following this rubric:

Math:

We have started with double digit subtraction without borrowing, please check out this video for our FIRST strategy on how to subtract double digit numbers, using base ten blocks. Only the first half of the video is what we have covered so far. 

Social Studies:

We are learning about Iqaluit and working on taking notes about the land, animals, food, and the Inuit people that live there (their traditions, clothing, language, etc). This is a band from Nunavut, listen closely for the traditional Inuit throat singing.
