We are doing a Spanish project and will be making a house- we will need some donations of boxes, if you have a box at home that we could use to make a small house, please send it, thanks! :)

English:
Phonics (letter sounds): ow, ou (ouch! sounds)
Reading comprehension- retelling a story using first, next, then, last
Writing: adding details and continuing to add to our writing to make it longer
Spanish:
Counting syllables in words to help us read and write
Partes de la casa (parts of a house vocabulary)
Math:
Reviewing double digit addition with and without regrouping
Measurement- using other items, ie how many paperclips long is the desk?
Science: Liquids- how fast does a liquid flow (viscosity), the different densities of liquids (when we made our density tower), the importance of water and how we can protect it
Social studies: We will be learning about Iqaluit (Nunavut)
Gym: Ask your child about the omnikin ball!
