Our Learning:

ELA: 

• phonics sounds "aw" (aw, au, al) --> talk, saw, sauce, etc. 
• Reading comprehension- retelling, first next, then, last, and making connections: this book reminds me of... 

SLA: 

• La Casa: learning the vocabulary for the inside and outside of the house, and we will be building our own houses out of cardboard boxes and describing them in Spanish 

Math:

• Double digit addition review with carrying
• Word problems- following the steps to solve
• We will be starting review of subtraction facts 

Social Studies: 

• We are learning about Nunavut- food, animals, landscape, transportation, people/language and celebrations/traditions
